Financial Services Administrator wanted to join our team
We are a small, friendly, hard working and conscientious team, and would welcome another administrator to join us to help with the continued service of our existing client base and growth of our business
The Role
You will undertake administrative duties as they arrive, these will typically include:
- Liaising with clients and product providers to request information, both verbally and in letters or emails
- Answering the phone and dealing with client and provider enquiries accordingly
- Keeping various data and records of information up to date
- Scanning and saving to files
- Diary management and making sure work runs smoothly and on time
- Making the occasional cup of tea (as we all do!)
- Providing support and information to other members of our team as requested to enable them to carry out their jobs well
Requirements
- It’s essential that you are polite, friendly and welcoming to our clients
- Conscientious and detail orientated
- Have the ability to prioritise workloads and be involved in team discussions on how we can manage work most effectively
- Numeracy and literacy skills are essential as you will be required to carry out detailed work and compose/check letters
- Computer literate – in word and excel, and able to pick up software skills quickly for products specific to our business (Intelligent Office, Finametrica, Morningstar, Synaptics, Truth)
- Ability to take on lots of small and differing tasks
- Keen to learn and willing to take examinations if the job requires
